Here’s the hard truth about Cat6 cables. According to Fluke Networks, around 80% of the so-called category 6 compliant cords on the market today fail to meet the specific telecommunications requirements under ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801:2002. Even with new Cat6 cables in place, you may not necessarily get the performance you paid for.
Monster has a long history of selling scam - including speaker wire with polarity. Monster was selling $7 speaker wire for $70 because they claimed speaker wire has polarity and their wire had that polarity marked. And many also recommended that Monster speaker wire - using the same logic that promotes their protector.
I have a question on cables. I need a pair of 23' biwire cables to connect my Aerial LR5's to a Theta Dreadnaught amp. I have the opportunity to purchase a set of Monster Cables 2.4s biwire cable for about 60% off list, for a total of around $550. The Bettercables in a similar length is around 1/2 this cost. Is the Monster 2.4s a much better cable?

None. I hate to say it,but, the pricer they are the better they are.I hate to say it because i like cheap gear but my mid priced cables ($500 to $1000 per pair)are only half as good as some of the higher priced cables i've demoed. No doubt about it. Tim 2, Jan 20, 2017.
The coathanger was unsurprisingly more inconsistent than the cable, but weirdly its max deviation was better than the cable's max deviation. The speaker cable had a weird issue in the highs, but the consistency was pretty decent otherwise. Below is a plot with our coathanger pitted against a high-end OFC (14-gauge) cable.
All my cables are GC or similar stuff. Most are 10+ years old. I don't walk on them and I do my best not to put strain on them at an angle. IMO (and this has been discussed up to and adjacent to a holy war) Monster's products are 20% value by being the same quality as other products, and 80% value as propaganda to charge higher prices.
