The Socket is not made for the H7 bulb but it will work on it, I couldn't locate a socket for the H7 bulb so I used this one, I like that the wires are a bigger guage than the factory, less resistance in the wires, and the wires are copper instead of aluminum or some other cheap material.
Failure Date: 08/07/2018. The tail lights go out intermittently due to a defective passenger junction box (fuse box). Tapping the box with a screwdriver handle will bring the tail lights back on for a while. This has been a Mazda 3 issue over the years. The should be a recall on this.
