Far Cry 5 could have shown that white supremacy didn’t jump from the compound to the legislature, but that Montana and the United States wouldn’t exist without it. At every opportunity, Far Cry 5 masks the origins of fascism in Montana, removing its roots in colonialism and Christianity, its links to mainstream politics, and its historical Far cry 1 is the worst imo. The first half is great, the second half sucks and the game is janky as hell. I love Far Cry 2 and it's extremely hated or loved. And I think Far Cry 4 is better than 3 imo, because it's just Far Cry 3.5, extra and more of what was loved about 3 minus the villain tho Pagan wasn't as bad as people say. And the gunplay is awesome. Graphics imo are better in far cry 5, they kinda look like CryEngine3 graphics, especially since they used Dunia 2 engine coupled with CryEngine3 shaders, but far cry 6 didnt have the support of cryengine, which made the graphics feel a little cartoony. Far cry 3 had one. I am surprised that no one is talking about how bad the climbing is in this game. Far Cry 6. Climbing only works under certains situations and I feel like it should be improved. Sometimes there are small buildings, houses or boxes that are easily reachable but you cant climb them at all. It's very frustrating. Far Cry 2 bears the distinction of being one of the most challenging games in the entire series. This is one notoriously brutal game, from start to finish. It was unapologetic in how it handled everything from mission objectives to the menu system. You were literally on your own, and it was up to you to figure things out.
The only problem with Far Cry 5’s ending is that it very thoroughly concludes the story and yet after the credits roll you’re right back in action for the endgame as if nothing happened. That’s just weird. Games that don't let you return to the open world after the ending face a huge amount of backlash.
