Days 3-4: Gorges du Verdon to Cassis (128 miles) While it might be tempting to sleep in, this morning’s destination is worth waking up early for. 2. Herbs De Provence. Herbs de Provence is usually made up of herbs grown in Provence like marjoram, rosemary, thyme, and oregano. This mix is used in a lot of traditional Provencal cooking. If you love cooking, or know someone who does, you cannot find a better souvenir from Provence France to bring back. The first part of our stay will be in Villefranche-sur-Mur for three nights, before heading to Charleval which is about 40mins north of Aix-en-Provence (Luberon) - this is where we'll pick up a hire car and will have 10 full days to explore (although in reality we'll want some chilled-out days at the Airbnb so probably closer to 5-6 days out).
